This tour heads to one of the most famous valleys in Wales - Rhondda - the home of Welsh coal and the birthplace of the legendary Tom Jones. See some of the old coal mines, and if you have time maybe pop into the old Lewis Merthyr Colliery where you can be shown around the colliery by an ex-miner who takes visitors underground and relays fascinating stories about living in the mining community and how this industry made South Wales the King of Coal.
Add-ons to this tour could be Treforest, (birth place of Tom Jones), The World of Groggs, Pontypridd , the Afan Valley, or Brecon Beacons National Park.
